Eligibility conditions Odisha OAVS Recruitment 2018 19

a) Eligibility for the appointment, candidate must satisfy following conditions of 
i) Indian Citizen
ii) Sound in mind
iii) Not more than one spouse living

b) Candidate applying for OAVS Teachers Vacancies 2018 2019 must have passed 10th Class in MIL Odia

c) Candidates not having Subject as Odia upto 10th standard must clear subject odia exam conducted by secondary board of Odisha

d) Candidates must have Bachelor Degree/ Masters Degree

e) Candidates must have passed Odisha Secondary Schools Teacher Eligibility Test OSSTET/ CTET otherwise they need to pass OSSTET/ CTE within 3 yrs of joining in the post

f) All teaching posts, knowledge of computer application is desirable

Qualification OAVS Recruitment 2018 19

For each post, different educational and academic qualifications are prescribed by OAVS

Qualification for OAVS Principle 2018 19

a) Master’s Degree with at least 45% marks

b) B.Ed from recognized University

c) Passed Class X standard in MIL Odia

Experience:

d) As Principal in Central/ State Govt. / Autonomous Organization (or)

e) As Vice-Principal/Asst. Education Officers in the Central/State Govt. / Autonomous Organizations (or)

f) As PGTs or Lecturer in Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous Organizations (or)

g) With 10 years of combined regular services as TGT

Qualification of All Trained Graduates Teachers TGT for Odisha OAVS 2018 19

a) Candidate must have passed 10th standard in MIL Odia

b) Candidate not having Subject Odia up to 10th Standard must have qualified at the single subject Odia examination conducted by Secondary Education Board, Odisha

c) 4 yrs Degree with at least 50% marks (SC/ST/PH 45% marks)

Qualification for OAVS TET English Teacher

Candidate with English as a Subject at graduation level

Qualification for OAVS TGT Odia Teacher

Candidate with Odia as a Subject at graduation level

Qualification for OAVS TGT Social Studies Teacher

Candidate with any one subject History, Geography, Political science and Economics in B.A. In addition,  candidate should have one more elective subject from following subjects: History, Geography, Economics, Political science., Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Indian Geography, Landmark in Indian History

Qualification for OAVS TGT Maths Teacher

Candidate with Bachelor Degree in Science with at least 200 marks in Math as a Subject with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Statistics
(or)
Candidate with B.Tech Degree with 200 marks in Math and any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Statistics

Qualification for OAVS TGT Science Teacher

Candidate with B.Sc and two subjects out of the following Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Bio-Technology and Life Science

Note: Candidates are not eligible for the post of TGT having Special B.Ed

Qualification for OAVS Physical Education Teacher PET

a) Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education 
b) Candidate must be proficiency in teaching in Odia and English medium
c) Knowledge of Computer Application is desirable

Qualification for OAVS Computer Teacher

a) B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science (or)
b) Candidate having ‘B’ Level of DOEACC / NIELIT in Computer Science (or)
c) BCA/ B.Sc. in Computer Science
d) Candidate must be proficiency in teaching in Odia and English medium

Age Limit Odisha OAVS Recruitment 2018 19

a) For OAVS Principal: 32 – 50 yrs

b) Remaining all posts: 21 to 32 yrs

Note: Age relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women

Selection Process Odisha OAVS Recruitment 2018 19

a) Candidates will be selected based on performance of Computer Based Test (CBT), Interview and Performance Test

b) Computer Based Test (CBT) comprises of Question Paper in bilingual i.e., English and Odia Languages

c) For Post OAVS Principle, scheme of examination comprises of CBT Test for 180 marks and Interview 60 marks

d) For Post OAVS Trained Graduate Teachers TGT, Post Graduate Teachers PGT and PET, scheme of examination comprises of 3 parts i e.,Part-I, II and III and interview of 40 marks

Part I – Question paper consists of English (20) and Odia (20) Questions which of Multiple Choice Questions carrying 1 mark each

Part II- Question paper consists of 30 questions from Current Affairs and 30 questions from Reasoning

Part III – Question paper comprises of 100 questions in subject content and methodology

Note: Negative 0.25 marks for wrong answer

e)  For Post OAVS Computer teacher, scheme of examination comprises of same 3 parts above mentioned for other posts i e.,Part-I, II and III. In addition to CBT, performance test of 20 marks and  interview of 20 marks is will be conducted for computer teachers
