Sony is reportedly gearing up to launch its latest flagship smartphone– Xperia Pro C. The new device key specs revealed on X platform by Insider Sony. The X post provides a detailed report about the Xperia Pro-C, Sony’s upcoming top-tier smartphone.
One of the most interesting findings about Xperia Pro C is its shift towards a more compact design. The device is rumored to feature a 6.0-inch display, a noticeable reduction from Sony’s usual 6.5″ displays for its flagship smartphones. It’s expected to boast a 2K resolution, matching the current Xperia 1 VI, and will come with a special anti-reflection coating for an enhanced viewing experience.
Under the hood, the Xperia Pro-C is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, promising top-notch performance. The base version of the phone is rumored to come with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
The Xperia Pro-C is set to impress with its camera system. The main camera is expected to feature a 1-inch 50MP sensor paired with a 20mm f/1.8 optically stabilized lens. It’s also rumored to support 12-bit RAW and 14-bit DCG RAW formats, offering professional-grade photography capabilities.
In addition to the main camera, the device is expected to house two 12MP cameras. One of these is rumored to have a 20mm lens with a smaller 1/2.9″ sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The exact purpose of this module is still unclear, but it’s sure to add to the device’s photography prowess.
The other 12MP camera is expected to support 4K@120fps 10-bit 420 S-LOG gamma curve and HLG recording capabilities, offering high-quality video recording options.
Interestingly, the leak doesn’t mention an ultrawide camera or a telephoto unit, suggesting that the Pro-C might focus on delivering high-quality performance with fewer lenses.
Lastly, the device is expected to come with a 5000 mAh batter, supporting a 45W charging over the Power Delivery protocol. This indicates a focus on compact design and faster charging for the Xperia Pro-C.
