YouTube Stories is Shutting Down on June 26th | Farewell to YouTube Stories 2017-2023: Watch Full Story

YouTube has announced that "YouTube Stories" will be discontinued (shutting down this feature) on June 26, 2023.

Shorts: They become very popular these days. They are vertical videos with a maximum duration of 60 seconds, similar to TikTok and Instagram Reels, and are intended to attract mobile users.

Community posts : It enable creators to engage with their audience using text, images, polls, and GIFs.

YouTube believes that these features (Shorts, Community posts, and Live videos) provide more flexibility and creativity for creators and more ways for viewers to discover and enjoy content.

YouTube says, they will support creators in transitioning their Stories content to other formats before the shutdown date.
