WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, has finally added support for video messages, completing its messaging features.
It allows users to share 60-second videos in chats, these videos are secured with end-to-end encryption, ensuring user privacy.
Recording a video message is simple and easy, its just like sending voice messages, making it easy for users to adapt.
By tapping the icon used for voice messages, users can switch to video message mode, where they can record and send videos.
Users can also swipe up to lock and record hands-free without holding the button, just like with voice messages.
The feature was rolled out in beta for Android and iPhone users in June and is now being gradually released to all WhatsApp users.
WhatsApp stated that video messages offer a real-time way to respond to chats, allowing users to share emotions and experiences in 60 seconds.
The feature adds a fun and personal touch to conversations, making it ideal for sending birthday wishes, sharing jokes, or announcing good news.
