Tata Motors has launched the new Tiago and Tigor CNG models featuring its innovative twin-cylinder technology.
With this technology, they offer more boot space and better performance compared to the conventional single-cylinder CNG setup.
The Tiago and Tigor CNG are powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 86hp and 113Nm of torque in petrol mode, and 73hp and 95Nm of torque in CNG mode.
The Tiago CNG is offered in seven variants, namely XE, XM, XT, XZ+, XZ+ DT, XT NRG, and XZ NRG. The Tigor CNG comes in four variants, namely XM, XZ, XZ+, and XZ+ LP.
Both models come with features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Harman audio, touchscreen info system with Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto and 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Tiago and Tigor CNG compete with other CNG models in the market, such as the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Wagon R, Dzire, and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Aura.
The Tiago and Tigor CNG are priced at Rs 6.55 lakh and Rs 7.80 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Do you like the new Tiago and Tigor CNG models?
