OPPO has launched a new smartphone in India- OPPO A58. The phone is a 4G variant of the OPPO A58 5G that was released in China last year.
The OPPO A58 offers a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and up to 680 nits peak brightness.
Performance: Powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB internal storage and its supports up to 6GB of virtual RAM.
The OPPO A58 runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 on top, which offers features like FlexDrop, Private Safe, and Game Focus Mode.
It has a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, along with an LED flash. On the front, 8MP with with f/2.0 aperture.
It packed with a 5000mAh battery and a 33W SuperVOOC fast charger. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and also features dual stereo speakers with ultra volume mode.
The phone comes in a single variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at Rs. 14,999; available on Flipkart with a Rs. 1,500 bank discount offer.
Verdict: It offers decent performance, battery life, and camera quality, but lacks 90Hz display and better processor.
