In recent times, UPI transactions have greatly simplified money transactions.
If you accidentally sent money to the wrong bank account, you can request reimbursement from your bank.

However, a transaction can only be reversed if the person who got the money gives permission for the transaction’s reversal.
Make a call to the bank's customer care support to report unintended transactions. Note the transaction's date, time, and account number.

Visit your home branch and inform them about the wrong transaction. Submit your application for the transaction you made.

Ask your bank to tell you the name and address of the recipient bank account.
Once you have the name and branch of the recipient, try to contact the beneficiary and make a request for the amount retransfer.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) says that it is the sender's responsibility to make sure the account number is correct.
