Infinix has launched its latest budget smartphone, the Smart 8 HD in the SMART serie, as the successor to the Smart 7 HD.
The smartphone features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole design and an impressive 90Hz refresh rate, a noteworthy feature claimed to be the first in its segment.
The Smart 8 HD is powered by the Octa-Core Unisoc T606 SoC, a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the Unisoc SC9863A SoC.
It boasts 3GB of RAM + 3GB of virtual RAM, coupled with 64GB of UFS 2.2 of internal storage, supports microSD, expandable up to 2TB.
The smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera, featuring AI enhancements and a Quad LED Ring flash. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with an LED flash for improved selfies.
The Infinix Smart 8 HD introduces a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a notable feature claimed to be the first in its segment, enhancing the phone's security.
The device comes with a timber texture finish on the back, providing a unique aesthetic appeal. It also comes with Magic Ring feature, including Face Unlock and Charging Animation.
The smartphone is powered by a robust 5000mAh battery, and runs on Android 13 Go Edition with XOS 13.
