Chinese tech giant Huawei unveiled its latest products- MatePad Pro 11 2024 tablet and MateBook D16 2024 laptop, at a product launch event in China.
The MatePad Pro 11 features an 11-inch OLED display with a 1600 x 2560px resolution, an aluminum chassis with a slim 5.9mm profile, and six speakers for an immersive audio experience.
The tablet is powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 9000s chipset, offering a 1+3+4 CPU configuration for enhanced performance. Geekbench listings suggest comparable performance to the Snapdragon 865.
The MatePad Pro 11 boasts a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front-facing camera of 16MP.
The MatePad Pro 11 runs on HarmonyOS 4, Huawei’s operating system, and also supports two-way Beidou Satellite messaging, enhancing location-based services.
The tablet is powered by an 8,300 mAh battery with 66W charging support. It also features Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and supports the third-generation Huawei M-Pencil.
It's a Windows laptop equipped with a 16-inch IPS LCD, offering a resolution of 1920x1200px and up to 300 nits peak brightness.
The laptop can be configured with up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor (base Core i5 to Core i9), providing users with a high-performance computing experience.
All models of the MateBook D16 2024 come with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and a 1TB M.2 SSD, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample storage space.
The laptop offers a range of connectivity options, including USB3.2 Gen1 (Type-A and Type-C), headphone/mic combo jack, Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.1 support.
