Samsung Galaxy S24+ with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 outperforms its predecessor and rivals on Geekbench 6

Samsung Galaxy S24+ spotted with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is the latest and most powerful processor from Qualcomm.

The chipset was recently seen on Geekbench 6, a popular benchmarking platform that tests the performance of various devices.

The results shows Galaxy S24+ with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be a beast of a phone, surpassing its predecessor and rival devices in terms of speed and performance.

The Geekbench 6 listing reveals that the US variant of the Galaxy S24+, which has the model number SM-S926U, had 8GB of RAM and ran on Android 14 OS.

The device scored 2,233 points in the single-core test and 6,661 points in the multi-core test, which are significantly higher than the scores of the Galaxy S23+ (Snapdragon 888 chipset).

The Geekbench 6 scores also suggest that the Galaxy S24+ with SDG 8 Gen 3 will be able to compete with the Apple M2 chip, which is expected in upcoming iPhone 15 series.

The Galaxy S24 series will be Samsung’s answer to the iPhone 15 series, which is also expected to launch in early next year.
