Vivo V30 Series: India Launch Date and Specs Revealed

The much-anticipated Vivo V30 series, comprising the base Vivo V30 and the Vivo V30 Pro, is confirmed to make its debut in India soon. The vanilla variant Vivo V30, initially launched in select global markets earlier this February, is expected to have similar specifications for the Indian variant. The Pro model, set to be unveiled in Thailand on February 28, has also had its India launch date announced.

Vivo has confirmed that the V30 series, including the V30 and V30 Pro, will be launched in India on March 7, at 12pm IST; available via Flipkart and vivo. The company has previously revealed that the handsets will be available in at least three color variants – Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Peacock Green.

The Vivo V30 Pro is set to feature a triple rear camera unit. The series is also teased to include OIS-supported portrait cameras and Vivo’s signature Aura Light feature, a square LED flash unit placed on the back panel.

The global variant of the Vivo V30 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, and a 6.78-inch 120Hz full-HD AMOLED display. The rear camera includes a 50MP primary OV50E sensor with PDAF and OIS support, a 50MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and an Aura Light unit. The front camera also boasts a 50MP sensor with AF.

The Vivo V30 Pro, rumored to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S18 Pro launched in China in December 2023, is confirmed to be equipped with a 50MP triple rear camera unit. Speculations suggest that it may include a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX816 portrait camera, and a third sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens.

The Vivo V30 Pro is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, similar to the Vivo S18 Pro. It is also expected feature a 6.78-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED screen. Vivo is also tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery into the handset with support for 80W wired fast charging.
