The G – 20 is an international forum for the governments and central bank governors from 20 major economies. It was founded in 1999 with the aim of studying, reviewing and promoting high level discussion of policy issues pertaing to the promotion of international financial stability.

BRICS is an association of five major emerging national economies:

Every two years the meeting is held iin a different member state and is chaired by that nation’s respective Prime Minister or President who becomes the Commonwealth Chair – in – office until the next meeting.
