Recruitment of constable in Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force in Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay with initial pay of Rs. 21,700/-
Date of online Registration: 01-06-2018
Date of closing online Registration: 30-06-2018
Date of Exam: September and October 2018.
No of Posts: Males: 4403, Females: 4216 (Total: 8619)
Qualifications:
Education: SSC (10th)
Age: 18 – 25 (Relaxation of 5 yrs for SC/ST and 3 yrs for OBC)

Recruitment Process of RPF Constable:
Selection process can broadly divided into 4 parts
1. Computer Based Test(CBT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
4. Document Verification
Computer Based Test(CBT)
Its online examination of objective type with 90 min duration of 120 Questions.
CBT will be in 15 languages where candidate should opt for any one language.
Language for CBT – Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujurathi, Bengali, odisa Assamese, Manipuri and Punjabi.
Each Question carries 1 Mark and every wrong answer 1/3 will deducted(Negative Mark)
Min Qualifying marks for exam are 35% marks(30%marks for SC/ST candidates)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Merits candidates in CBT will be called for PET.

Note:
1. Only one Chance for 1600/800 event
2. Ex- servicemen shall exempted from PET
Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Qualified candidates in PET will be called for PMT.
Note: PET/PMT is just for qualifying in nature. NO marks will be awarded.
Document verification
Its a last stage in recruitment process, based on performance of CBT, PET and PMT, candidates will be called for Document verification.
How to Apply for RPF Constable:
Application Mode for RPF Constable is online mode only. For Correction in application form, Rs 250 will charged for modification(Only 2 Chances for modification).
