Recruitment of sub Inspectors in Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force in Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay with initial pay of Rs. 35,400/-
Date of online Registration: 01-06-2018
Date of closing online Registration: 30-06-2018
Date of Exam: September and October 2018.
No of Posts: Males: 819, Females: 301
Qualifications:
Education: Any Degree
Age: 20 – 25 (Relaxation of 5 yrs for SC/ST and 3 yrs for OBC)

Recruitment Process of RPF Sub Inspector 2018
Selection process can broadly divided into 4 parts
1. Computer Based Test(CBT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
4. Document Verification
Computer Based Test (CBT) for Railway RPF SI Recruitment
Its online examination of objective type with 90 min duration of 120 Questions.
CBT will be in 15 languages where candidate should opt for any one language.
Language for CBT – Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujurathi, Bengali, odisa Assamese, Manipuri and Punjabi.
Each Question carries 1 Mark and every wrong answer 1/3 will deducted(Negative Mark)
Min Qualifying marks for exam are 35% marks(30%marks for SC/ST candidates)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for Railway RPF SI Recruitment
Merits candidates in CBT will be called for PET

Note:
1. Only one Chance for 1600/800 event
2. Ex- servicemen shall exempted from PET
Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for Railway RPF SI Recruitment 2018
Qualified candidates in PET will be called for PMT.
Note: PET/PMT is just for qualifying in nature. NO marks will be awarded.
Document verification for Railway RPF SI Recruitment
Its a last stage in recruitment process, based on performance of CBT, PET and PMT, candidates will be called for Document verification.
How to Apply for RPF SI 2018
Application Mode for RPF SI is online mode only. For Correction in application form, Rs 250 will charged for modification(Only 2 Chances for modification).

Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work; Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.
General Intelligence and reasoning Topics
Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
