After days of anticipation and teasers from Poco, Flipkart has officially announced that the Poco X6 series is scheduled to launch in India on January 11. While the company is yet to reveal specific details about the lineup, Flipkart has already set up a dedicated promo page for the Poco X6 series on its platform.
The Poco X6 series is expected to feature two models – the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro. Although Flipkart’s promo page doesn’t disclose much about the devices, a revealing banner on the homepage provides a glimpse into one of the smartphones.
According to rumors circulating in the tech community, the Poco X6 is speculated to be a variant of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, while the Poco X6 Pro is rumored to share similarities with the Redmi K70E. However, there are expected differences between the models. The Poco X6 might sport a 64MP primary camera, deviating from the speculated 200MP, and a 13MP ultrawide unit instead of the rumored 8MP. On the other hand, the Poco X6 Pro is said to support 67W charging, a step down from the speculated 90W.
Poco recently confirmed that at least one of the smartphones in the series will be powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC. If rumors hold true, the Poco X6 Pro will feature this chipset, similar to the one found in the Redmi K70E.
