The OnePlus Nord 4 is a highly anticipated smartphone, rumored to be a rebrand of the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 3V. Its latest leaks and speculations confirm key details of this premier mid-range offering.
Under the hood, the Nord 4 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, the same processor that fuels the Ace 3V. This was further confirmed when a OnePlus phone with the model number CPH2621 surfaced on Geekbench. The device achieved a single-core score of 1,875 and a multi-core score of 4,934, indicating impressive performance capabilities.
The prototype tested had 12GB of RAM, suggesting smooth multitasking and gaming experiences. However, it’s likely that more memory options will be available upon launch. The device unsurprisingly ran Android 14, and it’s expected that the Nord 4 will feature OxygenOS 14 on top of that.
Camera Specifications
The Nord 4 is set to feature a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an aperture of f/1.9. This is a slightly different from the f/1.8 aperture of the Ace 3V’s primary shooter. The 16 MP selfie camera appears to be identical to that of the Ace 3V.
Battery and charging specifications
The Nord 4 has also undergone the Eurofins certification process, revealing a battery with a rated capacity of 5430 mAh. This will likely be marketed as a typical capacity of 5,500 mAh, mirroring the Ace 3V. Interestingly, the certification indicates that the Nord 4 will support 80W charging, unlikely Ace 3V’s 100W support. This raises questions, as it’s unusual for the more affordable Nord CE4 to support faster charging (at 100W) than the Nord 4.
