Meizu 21 Pro variant is soon to be a reality, as a leaker hints at its launch in early February 2024. Meizu launched its base variant, Meizu 21, in China featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip back in November 2023. Recently, the Meizu 21 Pro variant was spotted on the 3C certification platform, suggesting an imminent launch.
The Pro variant is expected to have revamped cameras, 16 GB RAM, and 1 TB storage. Earlier, Meizu, owned by automaker Geely, launched its vanilla variant (Meizu 21) with a 200 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide, and a 5 MP sensor.
A Chinese leaker now asserts that the Meizu 21 Pro will debut with a 50 MP sensor, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a periscope lens. Apart from its camera, the device is expected to have the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
According to the leaker, the Meizu 21 Pro will feature a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate display with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is expected to have a 5020mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a Flyme-based Android 14 OS on board with FlymeAuto 4.0 support for in-car infotainment.
Earlier variant(s) also came with Meizu’s in-car infotainment system, which is compatible with the Geely Lynk & Co 08 electric SUV.
