1) BRIEF INFORMATION OF INDIAN COAST GUARD NAVIK GD 2019
Indian Coastal Guard Navik issued notification for recruitment of Navik (General Duty) 10+2 Entry – 02/2019 Batch Vacancies. Applications are invited from male Indian candidates possessing educational qualifications for Navik (Genral Duty) – 02/2019 Batch in Indian Coastal Guard Navik.
Note: Physically Challenged persons are not eligible to apply for this examination.
2) AGE LIMIT FOR INDIAN COAST GUARD NAVIK GD 2019
Minimum Age : 18 years
Maximum Age : 22 years
Note: Age Relaxation applicable as per the Govt Rules.
3) QUALIFICATION FOR INDIAN COAST GUARD NAVIK GD 2019
Candidates with 10+2 passed from recognized Board/University or equivalent, with Maths and Physics from recognized by central and state Government with minimum 50 % aggregate marks.
4) SELECTION PROCESS OF INDIAN COAST GUARD NAVIK GD 2019
All the eligible candidates applying for Indian Coastal Guard Navik GD 10+2 will be gone through examination during the month of March-April 2019.
a) Written Examination for Indian Coast Guard Navik GD 10+2 Entry
The written exam will be of objective type, which covers the subjects such as English, Maths, Physics, basic Chemistry up to 12th Standard, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative aptitude and Reasoning etc.
b) Physical Fitness Test for Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD) 10+2 Entry
Candidates those who qualify in the written exam will undergo Physical Fitness Test for Indian coast Guard Navik (GD) 10+2, Physical Fitness Test consists of :-
i) 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 Minutes.
ii) 20 Squat Ups (Uthak Baithak).
iii) 10 Push Ups.
c) Medical Standards for Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD) 10+2 Entry
i) Medical examination will be conducted by authorized Military Doctors has per medical standards prescribed.
ii) Height: Minimum 157 cms. Relaxations applicable as per the Govt Rules.
iii) Chest: Should be well proportioned, Minimum expansion of 5 cms.
iii) Weight: Proportioned to age and height + – 10 % acceptable.
iv) Visual Standards: 6/6 (Better Eye) and 6/9 (Worse Eye). Candidates wearing glass are not eligible.
v) Hearing: Normal.
d) Training for Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD) 10+2 Entry
The basic training for the Indian coast Guard (GD) 10+2 will commence from Jul- Aug 2019 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade.
