Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata has officially announced its Summer Research Internship Programme for 2025. Mode of Internship – Offline (On-campus)
The 2025 internship programme will be held offline, where selected students will work physically at IISER Kolkata’s campus.
Eligibility
The programme is open to students pursuing:
- B.Sc.

- B.E.
Students from any institution/university across the world are welcome to apply.
Duration
The internship will run for 60 days, during the period:
- Start Date: 19th May 2025
- End Date: 18th July 2025
Selected students must devote at least 5 to 6 hours per day for their project work.

Accommodation
- Hostel accommodation at IISER Kolkata will be provided to selected candidates, subject to availability.
- Accommodation will be chargeable, and students will have to bear the cost.
Financial Assistance
- No stipend or fellowship will be provided by IISER Kolkata for this programme.
- Students will need to cover their own travel, accommodation, and personal expenses.
Certification Process
- Upon completion, students are required to submit a project report to their supervisor.
- If the supervisor approves the project report, IISER Kolkata will issue a certificate of successful completion.
- The certificate will be sent via email.
