3) Mission Sagar-II, Indian Naval Ship Airavat entered Port Sudan. India providing assistance to Friendly Foreign Countries to overcome natural calamities and COVID-19 pandemic under the mission, “Mission Sagar”
- In the part of Mission Sagar-II, INS Airavat carried 100 Tonnes of food aid for the people of Sudan
- In Mission Sagar-II, Indian Naval Ship Airavat to deliver food aid to countries Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti and Eritrea
- India started Mission Sagar-I in the month of May – June 2020 to help Friendly Foreign Countries; SAGAR means “Security and Growth for All in the Region”
4) 24th edition of the MALABAR naval exercise (MALABAR 20) commenced from 03 to 06 November 2020 in Visakhapatnam in the Bay of Bengal
- MALABAR naval exercise is bilateral exercise started in 1992 between the Indian Navy and the United States Navy, Japan joined in MALABAR bilateral exercise in 2015
- In 2020, Australian Navy also joined in MALABAR bilateral exercise; MALABAR 20 is scheduled in 2 phases participating by Indian Navy, United States Navy, Japan Maritime Self Defence Force, and Royal Australian Navy
5) Chief of Defence Forces of Kenya, Robert Kibochi visiting India on the invitation by Ministry of Defence from 02 – 06 Nov 2020
- After assuming his office in May earlier this year, its Robert Kibochi’s first outside visit of Africa; scheduled to meet Home Minister Rajanth Singh, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, and senior officials in Ministry of External Affairs at New Delhi.
- Robert Kibochi completed his Signal Officers Degree Telecommunications Engineering Course (1984-1987) in India at the Military College of Telecommunications Engineering Mhow
6) Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Science and Technology released Special Cover of Department of Posts for commemorating the Golden Jubilee of Department of Science and Technology
- In 1971, Government established the Department of Science and Technology with the objective of promoting new areas of Science and Technology, it’s a nodal department for organising, coordinating and promoting Science and Technology activities in India
7) Kiren Rijiju Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports inaugurated SAI’s new Regional Centre in Zirakpur, Punjab in a virtual ceremony; to act as one of the main Sports Authority of India (SAI) centres for the northern belt of India

8) The Rajasthan Assembly passed 3 Bills to stop the applicability of the Centre’s new Farm laws; Rajasthan is the second Congress-ruled State after Punjab to reject the Farm Acts
- Rajasthan Assembly passed 3 bills which were a) The Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) (Rajasthan Amendment) Bill, 2020
- b) Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services (Rajasthan Amendment) Bill, 2020
- c) The Essential Commodities (Special Provisions and Rajasthan Amendment) Bill, 2020
- Recently Parliament passed 3 Farm Acts, which is to permit the sale of agricultural produce outside the mandis regulated by the Agricultural produce marketing committees (APMC), providing for contract farming and deregulate the production, supply, distribution of food items like cereals, pulses, onions and potatoes
9) Parliament passed 3 new Farm laws bills were

10) Priyanca Radhakrishnan became New Zealand’s first-ever Indian origin minister; appointed as Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector, Minister for Diversity, Inclusion and Ethnic Communities, Minister for Youth and Associate Minister for Social Development and Employment
- New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern inducted 5 new Ministers into her executive, Priyanca Radhakrishnan is one of them
- Priyanca Radhakrishnan born in Chennai to Paravoor Madavanaparambu Raman Radhakrishnan and Usha; graduated from Victoria University of Wellington
- In 2006, She joined the New Zealand Labour Party and worked on the internal party policy developments
