1) Ministry of Civil Aviation and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) granted a conditional exemption to Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University to use drones

  • Drone usage granted for the evaluation and standardization of plant protection solutions, Agri Spraying, and developing protocols for the diagnosis of major pests and diseases in PJTSAU research farms

2) The Army War College (AWC), Mhow celebrated its Golden Jubilee to mark 50 glorious years of its inception, with the motto of ‘Yuddhaya Krirt Nischaya’ which means ‘Into Battle With Resolve’.

  • AWC located in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, trains about 1,200 officers of the Indian Army, paramilitary forces each year.

3) Minister for Road Transport and Highways achieved the record-breaking milestone of constructing 37 kilometres highways per day in the year 2020-21

  • Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari felicitated the officials and presented the letters of appreciation
  • Length of National Highways gone up by 50% from 91,287 km as of April 2014 to 1,37,625 km as of 20 March 2021 over the last 7 years
  • Total budgetary outlay increased by 5.5 times, from Rs 33,414 Cr in FY 2015 to Rs 1,83,101 Cr in FY 2022
