♦ Narendra Modi expressed gratitude for the Government of Maldives for contributing $ 200,000 to the COVID-19 Emergency fund. Maldives is the third country SARAC to contribute for COVID-19 Emergency fund

♦ Narendra Modi requested the Pharma companies to manufacture of RNA Diagnostic Kits for COVID-19 on war footing. Government has approved schemes worth Rs 10,000 crore and Rs 4,000 crore for production of critical drugs and medical equipment within the country
♦ Union Cabinet approved to offer the financial incentive of 25% of capital expenditure under the Scheme for Promotion of manufacturing of Electronic Components and Semiconductors (SPECS) for the manufacturing of goods which constitute the supply chain of an electronic product
♦ Union Cabinet approved financial assistance to EMC2.0 Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters Scheme for the development of world-class infrastructure and amenities through Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs). Scheme EMC2.0 will support the setting up of Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs) and Common Facility Centers (CFCs)
♦ Union Cabinet approved the signing and ratifying of the Extradition Treaty between India and the Kingdom of Belgium. This Treaty would provide a legal framework for seeking extradition of economic offenders, terrorists, and other criminals from and to Belgium
