♦ The final list of Assam’s National Register of Citizens NRC is released, over 19 lakh of 3.3 crore applicants have excluded from final NRC
a) NRC: National Register of Citizens, 24 March 1971 made a base year in the Assam Accord for detecting and deporting foreigners and illegal migrates
b) Total Applicants: 3.3 crores, 3.11 crore were included in final NRC
c) Excluded persons can appeal before Foreigner Tribunals within 120 days
