♦ Pakistan denied using their Air Space for President Ram Nath Kovind’s flight to Iceland for Europe visit. India suffered from a financial loss of Rs 491 crore as Air India had to re-route its various international flights after Pakistan closed airspace following Balakot airstrikes on Feb 26, 2019
Note: Loss of revenue for Pakistan due to airspace closure about $100 million
♦ African Union lifted the suspension on Sudan membership in the bloc after 3 months of freezing. AU freezed after removal of President Omar al-Bashir. On 08 Sep 2019, the civilian-led government formed and appointed Abdalla Hamdok as Prime Minister
Abdalla Hamdok formed the first cabinet as part of a 3-year transitional power-sharing agreement between Sudan’s military, protest groups, and civilian parties

Indian Consitution Article 370: Temporary provisions with respect to the State of Jammu and Kashmir
Indian Consitution Article 371: Special provision with respect to the States Maharashtra and Gujarat
Provisions:
a) Establishment of separate development boards for Vidarbha, Marathwada, Saurashtra, Kutch
b) Allocation of funds for development
c) Establishment of adequate technical educationals and vocational training, and to provide adequate opportunities for employment
Indian Consitution Article 371A: Special provision with respect to the State of Nagaland
Provisions:
a) No Act of Parliament will be made or applicable in respect of religious or social practices of the Nagas, Naga customary law, and procedure, administration of civil and criminal justice involving decisions according to Naga
customary law, and ownership and transfer of land and resources
b) Governor of Nagaland will have a special responsibility with respect to law and order
