As the gaming world eagerly anticipates the launch of Call of Duty Mobile’s fourth season, it’s clear that the landscape of mobile gaming is about to be revolutionized. With a plethora of new features, weapons, and game modes, Season 4 is poised to be a game-changer.
New Weapons Arsenal
Season 4 is set to broaden the game’s weaponry, offering players an expanded arsenal. The star of the show is the MG42 LMG, a weapon known for its low recoil and high rate of fire, originally featured in Call of Duty Vanguard. This new addition is predicted to significantly alter the dynamics of the battlefield.
The arsenal doesn’t stop there. The OTs 9 SMG, a rapid-fire submachine gun first seen in Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War, will be unlocked at Tier 21 in the Battle Pass. Other new entries include the MK2 Carbine, a swift-firing, lever-action marksman rifle, and the Holger 26, a light machine gun hailing from Modern Warfare.
A Fusion of Game Modes
In a groundbreaking move, Season 4 will debut a unique mode that merges elements of Multiplayer and Battle Royale. This hybrid mode, set on the Standoff and Firing Range maps, will see players participating in Hardpoint matches with a twist – instead of operator skills, they’ll have access to Battle Royale skills.
Score Streaks and Settings Revamp
The upcoming season will also bring new Score streaks into play. The Emergency Care Package, a new variant of the Care Package that drops three packages instead of one, will cost double the price of the regular Care Package. A subsequent update will introduce the RCXD, a remote-controlled car that explodes when near enemies.
The settings menu will also undergo several enhancements, including the addition of Climb Type, which could influence how players navigate obstacles, and other options that could potentially affect the field of view (FOV) and customization of other players’ health bars.
Legendary and Mythic Skins
COD Mobile is set to unveil an impressive array of new Legendary and Mythic weapon skins. The standout Mythic skin for the MG42 takes the shape of an aircraft carrier ship that doubles as a battlefield, promising to be one of the most creative and unique Mythic skins yet.
