- The selection of AP Grama Sachivalayam 2019 is purely based on Merit in the written exam. The selection process is headed by selection authority which is District Selection Committee and the District Collector is the appointing authority.
- The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts will be based on the merit in the OMR based written examination which conducted between September 1 to September 8, 2019
- The minimum qualifying marks for consideration of a candidate to the selection process are OC:40%, BC: 35%, and SCs, STs and PHs:30%
- Securing of minimum qualifying marks does not confer any appointment
- If candidates got an equal number of marks in the written examination for two or more, those candidates shall be bracketed. Candidates within the same bracket shall then be ranked 1, 2, 3, etc., according to age i.e., oldest being considered first. In case of a tie in age, the person who possesses educational qualifications at an earlier date would be considered first
- Selected candidates should be medically fit
- Selected candidates should stay/reside in the village where he/she is posted
