NIO to Launch New High-End Smartphone with 100W Charging on September 2

NIO, the renowned electric vehicle manufacturer, is all set to make a grand entry into the smartphone market with the launch of its first-ever NIO Phone on September 21. The NIO Phone’s design has been revealed in official renderings, showcasing a sleek look with a triple-camera setup on the left and a curved glass back panel adorned with the NIO logo.

The NIO Phone is expected to incorporate UWB technology, aiming to provide NIO vehicle owners with enhanced remote control capabilities. This technology could allow users to remotely control their NIO vehicles, such as unlocking doors, starting engines, or adjusting settings.

The Phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Enhanced Edition chipset, and the phone boasts up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The Nio Phone’s 3C listing hints at a 100W fast charger and is also expected to have support for wireless charging.
