OPPO has launched the A78 4G smartphone in India, following the earlier release of its 5G model. The phone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 on top.
The A78 has a unique “Diamond Matrix Design” on the back and comes in Aqua Green and Mist Black color options. It sports a 50MP rear AI camera, 2MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP front camera in the notch. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support via USB Type-C.
The phone also offers additional software features like behavior-based battery charging and screen translation. It has 48-Month Fluency Protection, tested for durability and performance, no more frequent replacements needed.
